Asyril Asycube 530 3-axis part feeder targets robotic assembly applications

Mar. 16, 2017 – Asyril SA plans to debut its new Asycube 530, which extends the family of vibrating feeding platforms with part sizes of 0.1 mm up to 150 mm², at Automate 2017.

Asyril says its 3-axis voice coil–based feeder solutions are the “leading choice” for robotic part feeders, assembly, and palletizing applications, “thanks to performance benefits inherent to the 3-axis design.” Designed to meet market demand for large-part and collaborative robotic part feeders, the Asycube 530 joins the Asycube 50, 80, and 240. Each number in the series represents the diagonal length of the vibrating part tray. Asyril also offers its SmartSight machine vision camera for robot guidance, which includes a 1.4- or 5-megapixel camera, and its PocketDelta robot for small-part pick-and-place applications.
