Harnessed robotic dress packs from igus boasts quick replacement, installation

May 6, 2017 – Igus is now offering standard “readychain” ready-to-use robotic dress packs for simple installation as well as multi-axis cable guidance and protection.

The standard assembled dress packs consist of triflex multi-axis cable carriers, chainflex continuous-flex cables, hoses, and other components that can be adapted to suit the needs of each customer’s individual needs, says the company. In an effort to suit the needs of all robotic systems, igus pre-harnessed dress packs are available with optional connectors harnessed to more than 20 manufacturer standards with original plug connectors, dress pack retraction systems, and on-site installation and inspection services, it says. The online QuickRobot tool is also available to configure custom robotic solution from over 2,000 available options.
