Fraba Posital’s TILTIX inclinometers are now available with integrated one-, two-, five- or 10-metre connecting cables. This alternative to the M12-type connections on earlier models will simplify installation of these devices in many applications, the company says. All TILTIX inclinometers support a variety of electronic interfaces, including analogue (voltage/current), serial (SSI), DeviceNet and CANopen. Single-axis (360 degrees) or two-axis (+/- 80 degrees) models are available. These devices are suitable for use in harsh outdoor conditions. Their glass fibre-reinforced PBT housings and PU-encapsulated electronic components provide excellent dust and moisture resistance, while their rugged internal components can withstand shock loads of up to 100g and vibrations as high as 20g, according to the company. Applications include construction and agricultural machinery, mobile equipment, cranes and lifts, and drilling/mining equipment. Each inclinometer’s output is individually calibrated at the factory and temperature compensated to ensure accuracy in any environment.
