Mobile workstation reduces travel time

Newcastle Systems’ new NB Series Mobile Powered Workstation cart is ideal for warehouses, distribution centers, factories, laboratories, retail stores, and many other facilities.  These ergonomic carts are designed to carry computers (desktops, towers, or laptops), printers, scales, barcode scanners, and most other small electronic equipment.  An on-board battery can power up to four devices simultaneously for 8-10 hours of normal use.  Adjustable shelves can hold up to 75 pounds each.

The company says the NB Series workstations eliminate unnecessary foot travel and paperwork.  Instead of walking back and forth from a deskbound computer to printers and other devices used in tasks such as inventory management, process control, on-demand label printing, product testing, order picking, cross-docking, weighing, scanning, etc., all necessary equipment can be brought to where the work is taking place.  An operator can have real-time access to WMS, ERP, and automated data collection.

NB Series Mobile Powered Workstations are available in five models with a range of rechargeable power packages from a 40 AH battery, 350-watt inverter, and 10-amp charger up to a 200 AH battery, 1250-watt inverter, and 30-amp charger.  A non-powered model is also available.  Accessories include additional shelves (including a slide-out shelf), a laptop holder, an adjustable keyboard tray, a binder holder, an adjustable LCD support, a lockable drawer, a CPU holder, and a barcode scanner holder.
