German Technology Day’s organizers have planned a hybrid format for the 2021 event. The in-person versions of the event will take place in Toronto on Oct. 26 at the Westin Hotel and in Montreal on Nov. 2 at Novotel Hotel. The virtual event will take place on Oct. 26.GTD’s organizers are taking all necessary precautions and following guidelines of the provincial governments for both in-person events.

Seven automation and advanced manufacturing companies are coming together to host the third edition of this annual event. The lineup includes Bosch Rexroth, Eplan, Festo, Murrelektronik, Pilz, Rittal and Wago. Each company will showcase their latest innovations, technologies and solutions at their booths. Attendees will have access to videos, literature and case studies.

The theme for this year is ‘The automated factory of the future: safe, secure and connected.’ The agenda includes educational sessions as well as a trade show for each day. Each partner company’s educational presentation will be tied to the theme. The Toronto event will commence with a greeting from the Consul General of Germany, Thomas Schultze. All sessions of the virtual event will air live on Oct. 26 with no changes in the agenda from the in-person version.

Registration details, agenda and other information are available on the German Technology Day website.
