Trust Automation appoints new chief operations officer

Trust Automation Inc., a California-based supplier of automation technology for industrial and defence applications, has appointed veteran operations and sales manager Teddy Ross as chief operations officer, effective immediately.

“Teddy is a great addition to the Trust Automation leadership team,” says Ty Safreno, Trust Automation’s chief executive and technical officer. “His extensive expertise in operations leadership, sales development and strategic planning is a perfect fit for us as we continue to grow our established semiconductor, industrial and defence businesses.”

Ross holds a degree in industrial management from Northeastern State University and brings 30 years of operations and production management expertise to Trust Automation. His track record of success includes streamlining operations, maximizing productivity and reducing costs for leading manufacturing companies in the U.S.

The appointment comes on the heels of rapid company growth. Earlier this year, Trust Automation announced it will move to a new, 104,000-square-foot facility and also established a new cyber defence division that focuses on legacy IoT networks.
