Yamaha Motor Corp. names new manager to intelligent machinery division

Yamaha Motor Corporation USA has appointed Nick Isomura as division manager of its intelligent machinery (SMT equipment and robotics) division.

Isomura’s new role covers the North American and South American markets.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience in SMT equipment sales, specifically in automated optical inspection (AOI), to his new position.

Previously, Isomura was group manager of Europe, Southeast Asia and Americas SMT sales for Yamaha in Japan.

“We’re excited to have Nick join our growing group of industry experts at Yamaha,” says George Babka, sales general manager of Yamaha IM, in a statement.

“His knowledge and broad-based experience make him a valuable asset to our customers, and we’re delighted to have him on our team.”

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA Intelligent Machinery is a subdivision of Yamaha Motor Corporation, and offers machines for electric/electronic parts mounting, factory automation and other production line solutions.
