April 22, 2025, Burlington, Ont. — Endress+Hauser will supply the Canadian process sector with its industrial analysis and measurement instruments and other products directly from its production facilities in Europe to minimize tariff effects.
The family owned Endress+Hauser Group, headquartered in Reinach, Switzerland, has decided to temporarily shift fulfillment of any new orders from Canada that previously would have been produced in the United States to its production centres in Europe wherever possible.
“Our global supply chain and production network allows us to ensure minimal impact to our customers,” said Anthony Varga, general manager of Endress+Hauser Canada, in a press statement.
“Our customers in Canada will not be impacted financially on their orders due to tariffs at this time,” Varga said. “It is possible that there will be minor impacts to delivery time during this temporary shift.”
A media spokesperson from Endress+Hauser said in an email to Manufacturing AUTOMATION staff the company does not anticipate any major impact on their production facilities in the U.S. because of this change.
The company is closely monitoring and assessing impacts of news related to international trade, including, but not limited to tariffs between the United States and other countries.
