The Western Manufacturing Technology Show (WMTS) is returning to the Edmonton Expo Centre from April 9 to 11 this year with an interactive showcase of advanced technologies.

Produced by SME, WMTS 2025 is reportedly designed to inspire and educate manufacturers on implementing emerging technologies and upskilling their workforce. This year, WMTS will be colocated with the Automation Expo & Conference ― an automation event produced by the International Society of Automation Edmonton Section. Consequently, both audiences will benefit from an expanded experience when they gather in one central location to discuss manufacturing innovation, notes SME.

WMTS 2025, along with AEC and its strategic partners, will convene many of Canada’s manufacturers and engineering experts and will feature more than 100 OEMs and suppliers such as Cascade, Elliott Matsuura and Mazak, among others. SME expects more than 2,000 manufacturing professionals to explore 30,000 square feet of exhibits featuring 120,000 pounds (nearly 55,000 kilograms) of live machinery and equipment.
