Moticont adds LVCM-095-051-02 Linear Voice Coil Servo Motor to portfolio

May 22, 2025, Van Nuys, Calif. — Moticont has released the LVCM-095-051-02 Linear Voice Coil Servo Motor.

The motor has a 12.7 mm stroke, a continuous force rating of 35.8 lbs. and a peak force of 113 lbs. at a 10 per cent duty cycle.

It can be used for sub-micron positioning when an external high resolution position sensor is used, the company reported in a press statement.

The 95.3 mm diameter LVCM-095-051-01 Voice Coil Linear Servo Motor is 69.9 mm at mid-stroke, and is ideal for clamping, assembly, testing, optical focusing, positioning, laser beam steering, wafer handling, dynamic vibration absorption and vibration testing, laser drilling, cutting, welding and machine applications.

Two threaded 10-32 UNF-2B X 0.38 deep mounting holes on 44.4 mm centres and two threaded 10-32 UNF-2B X 0.38 deep mounting holes on 25.4 mm centres in the housing and coil ends allow for flexible and easy integration into new and existing applications.
