Wieland releases SLD safety light grids

Jan. 13, 2015 – Available in two-, three- and four-beam resolutions, Wieland Electric’s SLD series of safety light grids boast reliable operator protection in harsh industrial environments.

According to the company, the safety light grids enable machine design engineers to implement effective and economical optoelectronic safety barriers. With a range spanning 0.5 – 70 m, the light grids are suitable for Type 4 safety systems and feature a robust aluminum housing sealed to IP67 standards, multi-beam scanning to hep minimize unwanted shutdowns, and adjustable range reduction to help prevent mutual interference when implementing several adjacent systems.
