Schneider Electric Canada has created a new Energy Business to offer products and solutions specifically tailored for the electrical utilities, oil and gas, mining minerals and metals segments, and many other large electro-intensive operations.
Key products and solutions of the Energy Business include:
• Schneider Electric and Areva D medium voltage power distribution and energy consultilng services;
• Areva D protection relays and grid/substation automation, including the MiCOM portfolio (Px10, Px20, Px30 and Px40 relay platforms, C264 Bay Computer/RTU, A3xx Gateways, etc.) and the PACiS IEC 61850 technology and delivery model; and
• Prefabricated electrical buildings (PEBs, E-houses).
