CRIAQ launches its 100th research project: additive manufacturing focus
February 11, 2014 by Manufacturing AUTOMATION
The Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ) has launched its 100th research project titled MANU-601 additive manufacturing technologies for aerospace components. This project aims to generate knowledge on the design, processing and alloy high strength aluminum properties for additive manufacturing of aerospace components.
The project will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the aerospace industry and will benefit the supply chain, since it will result in the direct production of aerospace components, CRIAQ said.
