The UL-recognized and TUV-certified model A-15280 transformer converts a wide range of voltages so that equipment designed to operate in the United States will work nearly anywhere in the world. The technology takes incoming voltages from 100 to 240 volts at 50/60 Hz, and converts them to 120 volts at 1,500 VA. Multiple units can be connected in parallel to achieve higher output capacities.
Additional output voltages are also attainable by changing taps. This allows equipment designed to operate at 120 volts to be operated at 100, 127, 200, 220, 230 or 240 volts. An optional, resettable thermal overload protector is available.
