Sept. 15, 2014 – Superior Radiant Products, a manufacturer of energy-efficient infrared heating solutions, recently celebrated its move to a 43,000-square-foot facility on Barton Street in Stoney Creek, Ont.
The move to a facility more than double its previous size is thanks to growth in export markets and its decision to reshore the manufacturing of a patio heater for the North American market — a heater that was previously produced in China.
Manufacturing AUTOMATION chatted with company president Kevin Merritt at the grand opening of the new facility about his decision to reshore production of the patio heater to Canada. Watch the video to hear what he had to say.
