Oct. 24, 2014 – Transcontinental Inc. will close two of its printing plants at the end of December, resulting in 120 layoffs. One of the printing plants is near Toronto in Concord, Ont., and the other is in Edmonton.

The Montreal-based printing and publishing company says it’s concentrating production in more efficient printing plants.
