Hammond debuts HN4WM gasketed wall-mount enclosures

Nov. 22, 2016 – The Hammond Manufacturing HN4WM series of gasketed wall-mount enclosures are sealed to UL 508 Type 4, CSA Type 4 and IEC 60529, IP66, providing protection where the enclosure may be hosed down, installed in wet or dusty conditions or be used in outdoor applications.

There are 12 standard sizes in the family, ranging from 24 x 42 x 8 inches to 48 x 48 x 12 inches. Manufactured from formed 12 gauge steel, phosphatised and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 grey powder coating, the enclosures are designed to house a range of electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments. A removable inner panel is included and is finished in white powder coating; the centre post between the doors boast added structural rigidity and is removable for inner panel installation. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud is provided on the door; ground wire kits are available as an optional accessory.
