
Spartan Controls supports NAIT students with $4.3 million

May 26, 2018 – Spartan Controls has renewed its partnership with The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), announcing a $4.3-million donation to support the Instrumentation Technology, Alternative Energy Technology, Power Engineering, Water and Wastewater Technology and Millwright programs.
NAIT is a Canadian polytechnic, delivering education in science, technology and the environment, business, health and trades.
The 11-year agreement, announced Wednesday at NAIT, will include program equipment, software and services worth more than $4 million as well as scholarships and bursaries totalling $156,000.
Dr. Glenn Feltham, president and CEO of NAIT calls the donation “transformational”.
“Their gift elevates our students’ education. It ensures they have the most advanced equipment to learn on, and directly supports their educational journey through scholarships
and bursaries. What an amazing investment in our students and province,” he said.
