Canada’s top 10 manufacturing workplaces in 2018

July 30, 2018 – Congratulations to all the winners on the 2018 list of Canada’s Best Workplaces in Manufacturing, which were announced earlier this month.

The list, compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute Canada, consists of workplaces already certified by the organization in the past year. The workplaces need to employ a minimum of 15 people, have manufacturing operations in Canada and have a minimum 90 per cent positive score to the statement “This is a physically safe place to work.” The data has 90 per cent confidence with a plus or minus five per cent margin of error.

The 2018 winners are:

• Kicking Horse Coffee
• LMI Technologies Inc.
• Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc.
• Phoenix Contact Ltd.
• Quadra Chemicals Ltd
• Rittal Systems Ltd.
• SC Johnson
• Vermilion Energy

All are repeat winners from 2017 except Quadra Chemicals Ltd., a first-time winner. Nine of the companies on the Best Workplaces in Manufacturing list are also on the overall 2018 Canada’s Best Workplaces list, including Rittal Systems Ltd.
