Balluff’s SmartLight visual indicators run the gamut of colours

August 10, 2018 – Balluff’s new line of visual indicators, part of the company’s SmartLight product family, is capable of directing, instructing and guiding operators in almost any manufacturing task.

 
The indicators use IO-Link communication to increase productivity and minimize workforce errors by providing personnel guidance in a variety of applications — pick-to-light systems, part placement, part positions, format change guidance and others.

The indicators are capable of segment indication (up to six), continuously variable level indication and run/wait indication. Machine mounting allows all of this process information to be displayed directly in the operator’s sightline. The expansion mode allows two indicators to be connected to one IO-Link port to simplify cabling.

Balluff offers full control of standard colours or you can mix-your-own to match your corporate identity.
