Schneider Electric releases new versions of EcoStruxure energy management software

September 28, 2018 – Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, has announced the latest version of its award-winning software, EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert and Power SCADA Operation. These new additions provide the most complete insight into critical power networks and applications.

Power Monitoring Expert (PME) recently won gold as Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s Product of the Year 2018, and is the latest “edge control” software addition to the IoT-enabled EcoStruxure Power platform, which resides in Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure architecture – the open and interoperable system architecture for building, grid, industry and data centre customers. PME acts as the window to a digitized power network, taking advantage of IoT connectivity and distributed intelligence.

PME connects to field devices including power and energy meters, electrical distribution equipment and building energy systems to evaluate efficiency. 

Power SCADA Operation (PSO) is also a key element within the EcoStruxure Power platform. This latest edition of PSO significantly augments its edge control within a connected and integrated power distribution network.

PSO is ideal for mission-critical power applications. The latest version is designed to provide real-time vision and control for timely response. This newest addition to the EcoStruxure Power edge control portfolio keeps demanding operations running with new levels of speed and situational awareness.
