The Canadian German Chamber of Industry & Commerce is organizing an incoming trade mission for German lightweight materials & solution suppliers focused on automotive, mechanical & plant engineering, and the materials industry from Nov. 4-8, 2019.

The companies will be in Windsor (Nov. 4), London (Nov. 5-6), Kitchener-Waterloo (Nov. 7) and Hamilton (Nov. 8).

The companies are seeking to meet Canadian Tier 1/2/3 suppliers who design and manufacture innovative parts (aluminum, magnesium, high-strength steel, carbon used in additive manufacturing processes) for automotive, aerospace, machine or other related industries. Profiles of participating companies and their interest can be found here.

The Chamber is also organizing a Lightweighting Conference in London (ON) on Nov. 6, 2019 and are seeking speakers and moderators for two panel discussions who can contribute to the conversation.

If interested in a B2B meeting with any of the visiting German companies, the conference speaking opportunity, or to register for the conference, contact Jules Voss, Project Manager at 416-598-7084 or via email

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs & Energy of Germany (BMWi) supports this trade delegation through its Foreign Market Entry Program to facilitate new market entry for German SMEs and establish new business partnerships between Germany and other countries.
