Siemens opens facility in New Brunswick to enhance its OT security offering

Siemens officially inaugurated the Critical Infrastructure Defense Center (CIDC) in Fredericton, New Brunswick, to increase its global cybersecurity offering.
A first of its kind for the company, the facility is dedicated to Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) focused on Operations Technology (OT). Siemens will offer advisory, managed and research services at the facility, with the aim of securing the advancement of a decarbonizing digital world.
A team of cyber experts based in Fredericton will support cyber and physical security needs of Canada as well as projects in the US, Europe and the Middle East.
