Columbus McKinnon releases CM EZ-Connect Master Link & Chain Shortener

Jan. 27, 2015 – Combining two core components of a chain sling, Columbus McKinnon has developed the CM EZ-Connect Master Link & Chain Shortener.

It combines a master link with one chain shortener for single-leg configurations or two chain shorteners for double-leg configurations. According to the company, its chain shortener design allows the operator to easily adjust the leg length, enabling the sling to be used for various reaches and applications. The end result makes it easier to build slings, says Columbus McKinnon, as well as ordering everything for the sling assembly with one part number. It is dual rated for use with both grade 80 and grade 100 chain.
