Elektrobit EB Guide 6 software builds customized HMIs

Sept. 8, 2015 – Elektrobit, a developer of embedded technology solutions for the automotive industry, has announced EB Guide 6, a software toolkit that allows manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and developers to design and develop customized HMI systems.

According to the company, Guide 6 represents a complete redesign of the toolkit, integrating new features such as a more streamlined graphical user interface, advanced graphics and voice-, touchscreen and gesture-based controls. The company says Guide 6 helps reduce development time and costs by enabling existing models, animations, widgets and other assets to be reused for different projects, brands or markets, thereby simplifying the process of creating a consistent look and feel. Guide 6 was originally developed for the automotive market, but also has applications in other markets, including industrial automation, medical solutions and avionics.
