Sept. 22, 2015 – Empire Magnetics is offering stainless steel AC induction motors for frequent wetting and washdown environments, available in horsepower ranging from .5 to 20 HP.

Users can choose between nine frame sizes: 56, 143, 145, 182, 184, 213, 215, 254 and 256. According to the company, typical applications include food processing, chemical and drug manufacturing, machine tools, paper making and film processing. Additional features of the AC induction motors include integrated design and solution, highly corrosion resistant, integral housing seals and double-sealed cable entry, notes Empire Magnetics.
