Aras Innovator 11 PLM platform

Oct. 8, 2015 – Aras has announced general availability of Aras Innovator 11, which introduces visual collaboration using “secure social technology” in the platform, it says.

According to Aras, the new capabilities promise a faster, simpler way to collaborate across disciplines, locations and organizations. With the software, teams from engineering, operations, quality and the supply chain can communicate about products more effectively, make decisions quickly and solve problems faster, notes the company. The software covers various data types including 3D, 2D, schematics and layouts, Microsoft Office and images. It also offers discussion threads with embedded viewables that are linked with text comments to other users with the proper permissions.
