Michael Blount promoted to Palmer Wahl VP

Feb. 26, 2016 – Palmer Wahl Instrumentation Group, a manufacturer of industrial temperature and pressure products, has promoted Michael J. Blount to the vice president position.
He brings with him 50 years of experience in the design, manufacture and supply of industrial temperature measurement products globally, including work experience in England, The Netherlands, Germany and Italy.
As vice president, Blount will be responsible for the development of new products and expansion of engineering capabilities as a part of Palmer Wahl’s growth strategy.
“Mike’s experience meeting the requirements of demanding applications will strengthen our position as the temperature experts. With a proven track record of driving innovation, Mike’s skills are well suited to lead Palmer Wahl’s development efforts as we continue to grow our business,” said Stephen J. Santangelo, Palmer Wahl president.
Blount’s mechanical engineering specialties include certified welding designs and approvals in accordance with ASME IX and beyond and full penetration welds in Duplex, Super Duplex, 316 Stainless Steel, Incoloy 800H and Stellite materials up to 2 inches thick.
