Mitutoyo adds Quick Vision Active system to vision measuring line-up

Jun. 2, 2016 – Mitutoyo Canada has introduced the Quick Vision Active series to its line-up of vision measurement systems, describing it as an “easy-to-operate, space saving model with advanced functionality to meet diverse needs.”

The Quick Vision Active claims to be highly efficient and flexible, boasting a wide view field with interchangeable objective zoom lens. A working distance of 74 mm (using the 1X objective) “practically eliminates” the risk of damaging the objective or workpiece by accidental collision, says the company. The system is available with measuring ranges of 250x200x150 or 400x400x200 (XYZ), with or without touch-probe measuring option. Other features include three white LED light sources; eight position zoom options; high-definition colour camera; and QVPAK software.
