Aug. 3, 2016 – TOA Canada Corp., a manufacturer of commercial audio and intercom products, has promoted Derek Hunter to product support manager and Danny Jang to product support specialist.
In his new role, Hunter will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the technical support department and will assist the head office with product development, improvements and launches. According to the company, he will lead the department in training initiatives, design and support.
“I am excited to see these new changes in our technical support department. Derek brings with him over 18 years of industry related experience and will prove to be a strong leader within TOA,” said Rico Lucia, general manager.
Meanwhile, Jang will take on more responsibilities with design consultation, technical support and training. In his previous role, he provided customers with “superior customer service, assisting with and providing training, support, product repair and trouble shooting challenges, returns and more,” said the company in a statement.
“Danny has been an integral part of our team for 10 years working in our technical support department, providing our customers with top notch customer service. I look forward to working with the technical support team to continue to strengthen our customer’s experience with TOA,” added Lucia.
The company is saying farewell to Bill Soper, who has “provided TOA with more than 17 years of technical knowledge and expertise.” “Mr. Soper has decided to leave TOA and the staff wish him success in his future endeavours,” according to the statement.
