Nov. 21, 2016 – Super Décapant/Remover (SD) is receiving a $200,000 loan from the Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) to help modernize its manufacturing equipment and expand the plant’s storage area.

The funding granted under CED’s Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP) will allow SD to acquire conveyer systems, robots and automated sealing equipment which, along with the plant expansion, will help the enterprise grow into global markets.

“By investing in innovation in manufacturing, the Government of Canada stays true to its commitments and helps businesses expand, innovate and export their products in order to stimulate the growth of the Canadian economy and strengthen the middle class,” said Navdeep Bains, minister responsible for CED.

“We are very grateful for the support from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. The financial assistance will help us continue in our market development efforts in Canada and abroad by increasing our productivity and enhancing our product line,” added Sébastien Plourde, SD president.
