IFS Applications 10 launches with 500+ functional updates

May 3, 2018 – Global enterprise applications company IFS has launched IFS Applications 10, the new version of its enterprise applications suite, designed to help companies connect their business to a digital backbone.

New to IFS Applications 10 include: IFS Aurena, a browser-based user experience that offers an intuitive interface; AI/human-machine interaction, the IFS Aurena Bot is designed to empower users to interact with the system via voice or text input; and demand-driven MRP (DDMRP), an extension of traditional manufacturing resource planning (MRP) that helps companies deal with today’s challenges caused by short product lifecycles, lead times and high demand variability. IFS Applications 10 is available as a managed service in the cloud, as Software as a Service (SaaS) and on-premise. The new version boasts major enhancements to support process manufacturing, including new and extended capabilities for traceability, quality management, recipe and formula management, batch balancing, rework, and trade management. IFS describes the extended features empower manufacturers to leverage digital transformation into increased efficiency.
