Aztec Electrical Supply has acquired a Perforex machining centre from Rittal Systems Ltd. to complete enclosure modifications in-house.

The centre can be deployed for drilling, thread tapping, wiring and milling when machining enclosures and panels of all sizes.

The Ontario-based Aztec specializes in supplying automation and electrical products to electrical contractors, manufacturing plants, OEMs and custom machine builders. The company distributes a range of other Rittal products including enclosures, climate control solutions and power distribution systems.

Staff has been trained on use of the Perforex, which adds repeatability to streamline building processes. The CNC machine enables 10 hours of panel production work to be completed in 90 minutes using a selection of 20 tools in its magazine.
