HAHN Group acquires DAHL Automation

The HAHN Group has acquired DAHL Automation, a global integrator for robotics, cobots, autonomous mobile robots and automated guided vehicles.

The transaction was completed Mar. 27.

DAHL Automation has developed products and solutions including grippers, image processing systems and standardized training cells.

Detlev Dahl, founder and managing director of DAHL Automation, will continue to lead the company.

“We are delighted to be joining the HAHN Group as a strong, long-term partner,” says Dahl in a statement. “The combination of international orientation and proximity to the customer is very promising for us. We look forward to expanding our range of services together with the sister companies in the HAHN Group, as well as opening up new industries and markets.”

Thirty employees are currently employed at the DAHL Automation headquarters in Meinerzhagen, Germany.
