One of the new appointments is Dr. Rick Huijbregts, who will assume the position of vice-president, Strategy & Innovation. Dr. Huijbregts joins George Brown to lead the Registrar’s Office, Marketing, Alumni Relations, its International Centre, Applied Research, Institutional Research, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Partnerships. He is also responsible for shaping the college’s vision for 2030 and developing the corresponding business strategy. A digital innovation expert, he spent 12 years with Cisco Canada, most recently as vice-president of Digital Transformation and Innovation, and penned many industry articles, including several Going Digital columns for Manufacturing AUTOMATION.
