SKF Canada to acquire Hofmann Engineering North America

Sept. 15, 2014 – SKF Canada and Hofmann Engineering, Australia, together with other minority owners, have entered into agreement that SKF acquire Hofmann Engineering North America.
“Hofmann Engineering North America is a great fit with our strategy and activities,” said Dan Reed, president of SKF Regional Sales and Service, North America. “They have a strong product and service portfolio and skilled staff. The complementary nature of their products and technologies will enable us to even better serve our customers in the industrial market in North America.”
Hofmann Engineering North America is a high-precision machining operation located in Cambridge, Ont., in a 50,000-square-foot facility. The company has 16 employees.
