Jan. 13, 2018 – For the seventh consecutive year, Whistler Water has received the Excellence in Manufacturing Award from the Canadian Bottled Water Association (CBWA).

“Canadian Bottled Water Association is proud of Whistler Water, receiving the CBWA Excellence in Manufacturing Award in 2017 for the seventh year in a row,” said Elizabeth Griswold, CBWA executive director.

All bottler members are required to meet CBWA standards, which includes passing an annual third-party inspection. To receive the Excellence in Manufacturing award, a bottling facility must score 97 per cent with all critical areas in full compliance.

CBWA members must undergo an annual, unannounced plant inspection by an independent third-party organization. The inspections cover all areas of plant operations from source to finished product, and help ensure CBWA members meet both the federal government’s and the association’s requirements for the production and sale of bottled water.

“Whistler Water is proud to have been awarded Excellence in Manufacturing by the CBWA for the seventh consecutive year,” said Bruce Gemmell, Whistler Water COO.

I’m proud to manage a plant that continuously displays excellence in so many areas.”
