Expanded Falcon Electric SSG series now includes 4, 5 and 6kVA models

Jun. 26, 2015 – Falcon Electric has expanded its SSG Series Industrial uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) product line to offer power levels from 1kVA to 6kVA, which address a broad range of demanding industrial and process control applications, it says. Like Falcon’s other SSG models, the 4 to 6kVA units are rugged, rackmount online UPSs that carry UL 1778, UL 508, cUL listings and CE certification, it says, adding that these certifications assure reliable, code-compliant operation over a -20 C to 55 C temperature range. The SSG family also features hot-swappable 10-year rated backup batteries when installed in a 25 C environment. With double the average UPS battery life, this advancement reduces battery replacement and cost, it notes.
