A new recruitment and staffing company for the advanced manufacturing sector has opened in Toronto.

The France-based DAVRICOURT will serve its Canadian clients from the new Toronto, connecting human resources professionals at manufacturing companies with experienced engineers, such as software engineers, avionics engineers, mechanical engineers and electrical engineers.

Established in Paris in 2011, DAVRICOURT employs more than 350 workers. Over the past four years, the company has tripled its annual turnover to CAD $44 million.

The Canadian operations are headed by Nadia Duteil and Emmanuel Posner, who say they plan to scale up operations by hiring local talent over the next three years.

“With our growing Canadian client base, we are thrilled to extend our footprint in Toronto to be more responsive to this important market,” says Posner in a statement.

To select the Canadian office’s location, DAVRICOURT worked with Ontario International – PARIS Trade and Investment Office in Paris, France, and Toronto Global, a team of business advisors assisting global businesses to expand into the Toronto Region.

The company cites access to skilled, niche talent in the advanced manufacturing industry, as well as research in robotics and artificial intelligence, as the main draws to the area.
