SIERA.AI partners with UniCarriers to distribute autonomous technology

SIERA.AI and UniCarriers Americas have partnered to offer SIERA.AI’s safety and autonomy technologies to UniCarriers’ dealer network of material handling equipment.
Unicarriers will bring SIERA.AI technology to manufacturers in North America and Europe who are seeking automated mobile robotics.
SIERA.AI manufactures autonomous mobile robots that are programmed to move materials from point to point using traffic management and WMS integration to make an intelligent map of a facility.
The company has also developed cloud-based inspection checklists for safety and sanitation of equipment, as well as active sensing and braking to slow down forklifts. These products can be customized to the customer’s existing fleet of industrial trucks.
UniCarriers Americas designs, manufactures, and supports a complete line of material handling equipment. It also sells and supports UniCarriers-branded forklifts and supports legacy products under the Nissan Forklift, TCM, Atlet and Barrett brands.
Part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and headquartered in Marengo, Illinois, UCA has a network of more than 130 authorized dealerships with nearly 250 locations across North, Central and South America.
