Belden introduces Magnum 5RX Fixed Configuration security router

May 25, 2016 – Belden says its Magnum 5RX Fixed Configuration security router is designed to help companies meet the demands of harsh industrial settings and applications, “ensuring reliable network performance and reliability while offering best-in-class security.”

Designed for mid-level industrial applications where hardened and industrial grade solutions are required, the security router boasts a comprehensive set of features that promise to protect power transmission and distribution settings. According to the company, the router is “especially well-suited” for deployments at the edge of the network where modular solutions are either too expensive or not required. The two-in-one router is equipped with legacy network protocol and interface supports, as well as EtherNet/IP presence, firewall protection and virtual private network (VPN) security.
