Unitronics mobile app offers remote access for controllers

Aug. 23, 2016 – Unitronics has launched the Remote Operator mobile app for the Vision and Samba controller series, allowing customers to “define and access multiple controllers from a single mobile device.”

Available from Apple’s App and Google Play stores, the Remote Operator app allows users to remotely access their Unitronics controller using a smartphone or tablet, and operate the controller’s HMI “as if [they] are physically touching it.” Users can also monitor automation processes, press keys and touch HMI objects, change parameter values, view alarms and process value trends using the mobile app.
