Pilz PMI 6 Control boasts visualization and control capabilities

Mar. 1, 2017 – With its new product range PMI (Pilz Machine Interface) 6 Control, automation company Pilz is introducing its first operator terminal to be equipped with a soft PLC in accordance with IEC 61131-3 as standard.

According to Pilz, the terminal goes beyond professional diagnostics and visualization, making it possible to control the entire plant process in just one unit. Not only does PMI 6 Control boast comprehensive diagnostics, says Pilz, but it also helps to increase the productivity of the plant in view. The PMI 6 Control generation also has a capacitive 7 or 12 in. glass touchscreen. Pilz says operation is intuitive, fast and simple, guaranteeing high productivity for the plant and machinery. Software packages are “easy to install” with the help of the PMI Assistant, which is an integral part of the supplied SD card and can be called up when required.
