Kontron offers FlatClient and FlatView panel PCs and monitors

Jan. 14, 2018 – Kontron, a provider of Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), is now offering the FlatClient and FlatView series of industrial-grade panel PCs and monitors.

The Kontron FlatClient and FlatView series are available in various versions and display sizes from 10.1-inch up to 23.8-inch in either widescreen aspect ratios of 16:9 or 16:10 and standard aspect ratios of 4:3 and 5:4. According to the company, both product families come in a full metal housing either for VESA mounting (stand-alone version) or for direct integration into machines or consoles (built-in version). The devices are available with either projected capacitive touchscreen (PCAP), resistive touchscreen or protection glass options, and can be equipped with RFID readers.
 
The Kontron FlatClient Panel PC product family is organized in two different lines. The ECO line utilizes Intel Atom processors, while the FlatClient PRO line uses Intel Core CPUs. The ECO line features two Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), one HDMI, one VGA, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port. The PRO line has three GbE, two Displayport and four USB 3.0 ports built in.

Kontron FlatView industrial monitors, just like all FlatClient Panel PCs, are available in different versions featuring various display sizes, aspect ratios and resolutions. These range from compact 10.1-inch options with a resolution of 1280×800 up to 23.8-inch models with 1920×1080.
