Apr. 24, 2017 – Methods 3D, a subsidiary of Methods Machine Tools, has introduced the 3D Systems ProX SLS 500 Selective Laser Sintering production 3D printer promising fast speeds, high print resolution and a range of engineered composite materials.

The 3D printer boasts “superior parts with high precision, durability and quality” in a production-grade system, it says, created for the manufacturing floor. The company says the unit was developed in tandem with the DuraForm ProX materials line to produce smoother wall surfaces and edge definition, generating injection molding-like part quality for functional parts and complete assemblies. Boasting maximum build envelope capacity, the 3D printer measures 15 in. x 13 in. x 18 in.
