May 21, 2017 – Artila Electronics says its new integrated M-A5D35 Linuz-ready ARM Cortex-A5 system module is specially designed for industrial control, automation gateway, lighting control and smart energy applications.

The module promises to maximize efficiency and flexibility in a high-performance architecture, as well as enabling users to simplify the design and complete project in a short time, notes Artila. The M-A5D35 features the technology of Atmel SAMA5D35 which aims to reduce power consumption. Based on the ARM Cortex-A5 core with floating-point unit (FPU), M-A5D35 is suitable for applications requiring high-precision computing and fast data processing. It provides a range of interfaces including Ethernet ports, High-speed USB port, CAN port, SDIO / SD / MMC, UART, SPI and TWI for users to connect peripheral devices. M-A5D35 features the Linux Kernel 4.4.x version of the operating system and supports the ETX4 file system.
