Korean learning centre group Coding&Play receives 50,000 Root robots

Jan. 13, 2018 – Root Robotics has received a commitment from Coding&Play, a Korea-based children’s coding education company, to purchase and deploy 50,000 Root robots in Korea. 

As part of the partnership, Root will be deployed to all 50 Coding&Play coding education centres in Korea with a custom curriculum.

Root Robotics describes itself as delivering a “complete learning experience for users of any age or skill level” using the Root app, which is designed to grow with the user as their skills and knowledge improve. The three levels of the app offer tools for logic, problem solving and creativity. The app begins with simple sequences, patterns, loops and visual language, and works up to advanced programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript and Swift.
