AutomationDirect introduces vinyl nylon tray cable

AutomationDirect has debuted the VNTC (vinyl nylon tray cable) 600-volt type TC-ER control cables for use in wet and dry areas, conduits, ducts, troughs, trays or direct burial.

VNTC cable is available in 18 AWG to 10 AWG with three to 24 unshielded copper conductors.

Cables are cut to length in one-foot increments with a 20-foot minimum.

Cable is rated for use in Class I, II, and III, Division 2 hazardous locations per NEC Article 501 and 502 and listed for exposed runs (TC-ER) per NEC 336.10.

VNTC cable, made in the U.S. with nylon layer insulation and THHN polyvinyl chloride jacket, is silicone free and can operate continuously at temperatures up to 75°C in wet locations and 90°C in dry locations.
