Eclipse Automation acquires D&D Automation

June 11, 2019 – Eclipse Automation has announced the acquisition of Stratford, Ontario's D&D Automation.

D&D, a specialist in controls and systems engineering, designs and integrates PLC control systems for robotics, industrial machinery, manufacturing lines, process environments and other automated facilities.

Eclipse Automation delivers automation solutions with a focus on design, engineering, manufacturing and integration.

In addition to providing advanced production, lean manufacturing and progressive distribution, D&D customers will be supported with engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) controls engineering. Eclipse will also leverage its controls engineering capabilities to its customer service support to extend the productive life of existing equipment and systems.
