
Z-AXIS hires two engineers for manufacturing centre

Z-AXIS has added two engineers to its staff at its electronics design and contract manufacturing centre near Rochester, New York.
Matt Switzer has joined Z-AXIS as quoting engineer, responsible for developing accurate and competitive quotes for the company’s electronic design and contract manufacturing services.
Switzer has seven years of experience as an R&D development engineer with ITT Goulds Pumps, and additional experience as a manufacturing engineering co-op with BorgWarner and a process engineering co-op with Coviden.
He has a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Katie Boesl has joined Z-AXIS as a process engineer, responsible for optimizing the company’s electronic product manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency.
She started her career with Z-AXIS in early 2019 as a manufacturing engineering co-op, and accepted the full-time position in the fall of 2019.
Boesl has a BS in biomedical engineering from the University at Buffalo (SUNY).
